Obituary of Rebecca Ruth Bryson

BRYSON, Rebecca R., 90, passed away September 30, 2018 in Tampa, her home for the last 51 yrs.  She was born in Rocky Face, GA on Valentine's Day to Frankie and William G. Daffron, the only daughter of four children.  After graduating from high school and Business School, she worked for Cabin Crafts before marrying and traveling the U.S. and overseas in the military with her husband, raising four daughters along the way.  She was devoted to her family, loved unconditionally, had the patience of a saint and a heart of gold.  She was truly a cherished gift from God and now forever an angel in heaven.  Our tears won't stop until we meet again.       

Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Bryson; daughter, Teressa Bryson; parents; and brothers, William and Howard Daffron.  She is survived by daughters, Patti Arrington (Joe White), Debra (Bill) Van Wambeke and Brenda (Larry) Levin; grandchildren, Eric Bryson, Dustin Arrington, John Mallicote, IV and Lindsay (Todd) Duplantis; great granddaughters, Keirstin, Addison and Kaylee; brother, Maurice (Shirley) Daffron; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A special thanks to Niki Frazier for all of her care and devotion.      

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 4 at A Life Tribute Funeral Care- Tampa (Henderson Blvd) from 7-9 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 5, at 10:30 at Palma Ceia United Methodist Church with Pastor Bruce Toms officiating.  Burial will be a private family event at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
